As a Collaborative Partnership on Forest (CPF) member, The GEF is co-organizing this international conference which aims to provide substantive input, through UNFF13, to the High-level Political Forum (HLPF), the United Nations central platform for follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the SDGs. As a major stakeholder for implementing the agenda of Sustainable Forest Management worldwide, the GEF is actively engaged with the CPF activities since its creation in 2001.
