| Implementation Status | The outstanding activities to be completed are the database and website. These were targeted to be completed within the first quarter of 2006. However, due to unforeseen over-commitment in the budget, these activities will now be absorbed and to be completed by the Department of Environment. The awareness programs are on-going and progressing well. The Department of Environment is also expected to absorb the running costs of these programs, namely the radio and the newspaper, as was originally intended at the onset of the project. |
