| Implementation Status | SNC CR: Period of Oct-Dec 2005: The Project has suffered changes in its scope. It has been adjusted upwards by $50,000 which will allow for the inclusion of a technology transfer component. As a result the work plan has been modified and project document is been studied by PNUD-GEF. However, there has already been progress: a work plan that stresses the strengthening of national capacities to develop the inventories and the country reports to the Convention. A progress report has been issued and a 2000 land cover map is been generated. As a result of the stocktaking exercise a number of strategic alliances have been established with different sectors of society which will allow for the identification of interactions between climate and health, technology, and the economy in general. |
