The project will also provide the GoN with a general framework for the replication of the co-management model. |
| Implementation Status | April-June 2007:The Management Plan submitted to MARENA for its final review was returned with comments, mostly from the Ministry’s Legal Department. After corrections, the document is once again in MARENA’s hands, for the official approval. With respect to Fundación Amigos de Chacocente, the directive board met twice during this period –being the first two meetings of this body—in which the first steps for a common-ground strategic plan were taken. Funding for complementary community projects was also approved in this period. A new M&E conceptual framework was designed for the PZC, which proposes an integral system to measure the Project’s effects and impacts; as well as the effectiveness in the management of the Refuge. Lastly, preparation for the Mid-term Evaluation of PZC took place during this period, including the approval of the ToRs and the work plan of the consultants. |
