| Description | Within the overall objective of the Stockholm Convention on POPs, which is to protect human health and the environment from POPs, the project’s objectives are to: i) Allow South Africa to meet its reporting obligations under the Stockholm Convention on POPs; ii) Prepare the ground for implementation of the POPs Convention in South Africa; and iii) Strengthen national capacity to manage POPs and chemicals management capacity generally. |
