| Description | Strengthen long term sustainability of the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (LWC) managed for the benefit of endangered wildlife/habitats and support of community based conservation and income generation. |
| Implementation Status | Additional seven community wildlife conservation areas have been established. Infrastructure (roads and airstrips) have completed. Community groups establishment and registration has been completed and action plans drawn. Research on wildlife dynamics and habitat monitoring is currently going on. These activities are in agreement with the objective of extending coverage of land managed for wildlife conservation as well as habitat monitoring. |
