| Description | The project (which GEF would help co-finance) is being prepared as an WB/GEFR Strategic Partnership Adaptable Program Loan (APL) to be implemented over a ten year period through an anticipated 3 tranches. It will consist of the investment components described below and will also include significant capacity building and technical assistance. |
| Implementation Status | A satisfactory rating for implementation progress is based on the progress described in Development Objective and Global Objectives of the project. The implementing agencies are proceeding satisfactorily although in general more slowly than expected. Most major consultant procurements are either in-place or in final stages of procurement. Indicative Rural Electrification Master Plan is under implementation, which includes preparation of 5 PREPS within 6 months of signing. |
