| Description | To strengthen management of biological corridors and protected area network in the broadleaf forest ecoregion based on a landscape scale conservation approach. |
| Implementation Status | The project is on track to meeting its objectives and approaching its operational closure in second quarter of 2008. Various studies initiated on the faunal, avifaunal and grazing ecology has been completed. Following a national level workshop on biological corridor management, various governance options for the corridors were discussed with the stakeholders including the local communities. The evaluation of the integrated conservation and development program was completed with technical support of the Nature Conservation Division. |
