| Description | The project would assist the government of Belarus to conserve and sustainable manage biodiversity in the Polesei Region through PA protection, and the integration of biodiversity concerns in activities related to land-use. .The project would improve the quality of key policies for several productive sectors such as agriculture, forestry, flood defense) in parallel to the establishment of PAs at target sites of global importance. It will also assist the government in strengthening cooperation with Ukraine on the establishment of the transborder Pripyat-Sokhid-Prostyr reserve. |
