Zambia will now build on this analysis in carrying out a full scale NCSA in a transparent and participatory manner. The NCSA will involve a thorough assessment and analysis of Zambia’s capacity constraints and needs in relation its commitments under the Rio Conventions and related international instruments.
Implementation StatusImplementation of the National Capacity Self-Assessment (NCSA) has finally commenced with the recruitment of the Project Coordinator currently underway. The recruitment process is expected to be complete by mid September 2005. It is anticipated that the project management team will be fully operational by mid October 2005.
