| Description | The objective of the project is to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions associated with the energy use of private and public buildings in Bulgaria (including the premises of the local SMEs) by improving the efficiency of their energy use. |
| Implementation Status | Training materials on Municipal Energy Plans (MEP) are developed for second session including 8 lectures and upgraded tools for municipal officers. Two day training course for 13 municipalities, including 5 workshops will be conducted in Sofia. Home works have been elaborated by the trainees and will be finalized during the course. The MEPs will be used as a basis to generate projects for EU structural funding. Contracts were signed and audits were executed with ESM for 6 public buildings. In addition, Economical and technical consultations and assistance for design were performed for two hotels, three residential, and two SME buildings. A manual for Sustainable EE Building Design was translated and adapted for uploading in the project web site. |
