| Description | to reduce Burkina Faso’s energy-related CO2 emissions by substituting fossil fuels (kerosene and diesel) with solar power to provide electricity services for water pumping together with other attendant basic productive energy services to the targeted rural community users. The project will improve people’s livelihoods by promoting the use of renewable energy (solar PV) to provide potable drinking water and basic electricity services to the rural area, thus reducing the country’s dependency on imported fossil fuels (kerosene, diesel). |
