| Description | The project’s objective is socio-economic development of Sengor community through provision of electricity for domestic purposes, and utilization of energy for community based rural enterprises leading to enhanced livelihoods and poverty alleviation. |
| Implementation Status | • National Consultant recruited for the Community Collateral fund guidelines and rural co-operatives enterprises. • A temporary Sengor Micro Hydropower Management Committee (SMHMC) has been formed with representatives from Dept of Energy and the community • Billing cycle of the households has been started since June 1, 2007 after a grace period of one month. |
