| Description | The project objective is to build capacities for mainstreaming global environment into the formulation and implementation of regional and local development, as well as spatial planning policies. |
| Implementation Status | Both the national and international entity for the training program development were identified and contracted. To support the training program development, the training needs analysis assignment was commissioned and is expected to be finalized in October. In addition, a survey reviewing Bulgarian institutions and their available statistical and GIS data is under implementation. In conjunction with the organization of a study trip for public officials to the UK, region and local partner were identified, namely: Cornwall County and Cornwall City Council and an agreement regarding mission dates (4-11 November) and agenda were determined. 12 Bulgarian participants were identified from national and regional authorities. |
