| Description | The medium-sized project will create and/or strengthen the required renewable energy based inputs for small enterprise development, including the small enterprise development necessary to deliver renewable energy-based services for industrial, communal and domestic purposes in the Quiche region. |
| Implementation Status | The project ended in June 2002 and the final evaluation took place April-June 2002. The evaluation rated the project highly successful in strengthening local organisation and in resource mobilisation, among others. In the project area the use of fossil fuels, and consequently CO2 emissions, diminished as a result of the project. |
