| Description | The global environment objective of the project is to protect regional biodiversity against the potential risks associated with introduction of LMOs into the environment. This will be achieved through the development of common science-based methods for risk assessment and management in the approval or rejection of LMOs' applications, in compliance with the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (CPB) and other international standards. |
