| Description | The project has three principal objectives. First, enhance the capacity of each of the participating countries to implement the Convention by facilitating the establishment of a national institution and process for the development of a strategy to implement the Convention. Second, enhance the capacity of four regional partner institutions to play the major role in carrying out the first objective. Third, create an informal training network to allow the sharing of training resources developed by other programmes and institutions. |
