| Description | The immediate objective of this project is to facilitate the preparation of the first national communication of Sri Lanka to the Conference of the Parties (COP), in accordance with Article 12.1 of the UNFCCC, and the guidelines adopted by COP-2 for the preparation of national communications of non-Annex I Parties. |
| Implementation Status | The project is operationally closed. A publication titled “Climate Change in Sri Lanka: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability”, based on the results of all research studies carried out has been prepared in draft and is in the process of being finalized. |
