| Description | The objective of the proposed GEF project is to promote development of community-based renewable energy mini-grids in the Solomon Islands through technical assistance, capacity building and demonstration investment. At least two renewable energy-based mini-grids will be financed under the project with the host communities taking an active role in obtaining financing and operating and maintain the systems. |
