Description	Formulate strategies and actions necessary for the protection and sustainable use of Ukraine's biodiversity, as well as prepare a plan for their implementation. The primary product will be a BSAP. In addition, Ukraine's first national report will be prepared.
Implementation Status	Activity was completed. The Biodiversity strategy and the national reports to the CoP were completed. The CHM funding for $14,000 was not included in a grant agreement or disbursed - nor was a Trust Fund assigned. Therefore, it was considered as dropped. The Grant was fully disbursed as of 4/24/98 and closed on 2/4/99.
