| Description | Establish and effectively manage a transfrontier conservation area including Sehlabathebe National Park in Lesotho and the Natal Drakensberg National Park in South Africa. |
| Implementation Status | The project is under implementation. Supervision Mission was completed in July, 19-23, 2004. The overall finding of the mission is that project implementation is satisfactory. This finding is based on professional and extensive support provided to the mission by the project team and three ministries. This included a two day progress report workshop held with the PCU and line function ministry staff, one-on-one interviews with staff, a review of key documents provided to the mission including progress report number 6, a four month work plan, annual plan, district planning workshop report, the draft procurement plan, draft training plan and draft budget, presentation on project financial management requirements as well as data projector presentations for each component. |
