| Implementation Status | WJEMP APL I is moving toward achieving its development objectives, as well as those of whole program. The compost subsidy guidelines were approved and MOF has completed its budgetary arrangement. Several private compost producers have signed agreement to produce compost under the GEF scheme. The government agreed to develop as many as 4 larger-scale (greater than 30 tonnes/day) compost facilities to be operated by PLGs by end 2004. Bank has rated the implementation progress as satisfactory. The extension of the closing date to June 30, 2006 is in the process, pending official request from GOI. |
