| Description | The objective of this project is to develop a National Biodiversity Action Plan which fulfils Bangladesh's international commitments under the CBD, while also reflecting national priorities and the country's unique cultural, historical and geographical setting. |
| Implementation Status | BSAP project is still open despite not being ‘active’ for the past year. In fact, once IUCN had done the original draft of the document, it was sent to Government for clearance. They had some comments and wanted to hold a prioritization exercise for the activities which was duly done last month. Now, the document is ready for printing and was sent to the printers a few weeks ago. The project was left open for this final payment for printing costs. |
