The overall aim of this project is to accelerate the exploration and the development of geothermal power use in Yemen through the identification of high enthalpy reservoirs in order to increase access to energy services as well as to mitigate the country's dependence on fossil fuel sources and decrease CO2 emissions. The project will address these barriers through a combination of technical assistance, geological investigation and capacity building.
