This training on the new Project Identification Form (PIF) template for GEF-8 was organized for GEF agencies and technical staff involved in project design. The session included presentations by the GEF Secretariat and the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel (STAP), as well as demonstrations of illustrative PIFs to articulate key aspects of writing a good PIF, with a focus on the project rationale and description sections.
