DescriptionThe primary objective of this project is to carry out an assessment of Samoa’s capacity to address global and local environmental issues, and to develop a plan for implementation of key activities to achieve capacity building needs identified particularly those relating to the UNCBD, the UNFCCC and the UNCCD. This will be achieved through a series of self-assessments carried out by a local consultant whom will be recruited together with the NCSA- Project Coordinator to gather information from the agencies and organizations with direct responsibility for environment and conservation issues in the country (the key stakeholders).
