DescriptionThe project’s objective is socio-economic development of Sengor community through provision of electricity for domestic purposes, and utilization of energy for community based rural enterprises leading to enhanced livelihoods and poverty alleviation.
Implementation Status• National Consultant recruited for the Community Collateral fund guidelines and rural co-operatives enterprises. • A temporary Sengor Micro Hydropower Management Committee (SMHMC) has been formed with representatives from Dept of Energy and the community • Billing cycle of the households has been started since June 1, 2007 after a grace period of one month.
