Africa Community Outreach Programme for Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biological Resources
Project Summary
The project will assist Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe (all parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity) to conserve biological resources of global significance through a public education and awareness program using local and traditional means of communication to promote incentives for local community participation in implementing the objectives of the Convention.
