Arid and Semi-Arid Ecosystem Conservation in the Caucasus
Project Summary
Protection of biodiversity in the arid and semi-arid zone in Eastern Georgia is the objective of this project. The project is designed to ensure local land users participation in the design of alternative land uses, and their integration in its implementation. The project will complement and enhance proposed protection activities in the target area and coordinate these with neighboring countries sharing sections of the ecosystem.
