National Capacity Needs Self-Assessment for Global Environmental Management
Project Summary
The National Capacity Needs Self-Assessment Project will focus on constraints and needs related to the management of international conventions, particularly on biodiversity, climate change and desertification control for greater coordination and synergy. The project will also address the needs of the administration in terms of capacity building and will develop national and regional networks. Finally, through a participatory approach, the project will foster dialogue, exchange of information and cooperation between all parties involved in national and global environmental management, from grassroots level to State summits via decentralized and delocalized State agencies, NGOs and the private sector.
