LDC/SIDS Portfolio Project: Capacity Building for Sustainable Land Management in Jamaica
Project Summary
This project’s long-term goal is to prevent and arrest land degradation by institutionalizing sustainable land management practices in such a way that national socio economic priorities are met while at the same time contribute to achieving the objectives of the CCD. The objective of this project is to integrate sustainable land management within decision-making and development planning and strengthen capacities to implement best practices for sustainable land management and thus contribute to halting and reversing land degradation trends.
