Conservation of the Biodiversity of the Paramo in the Northern and Central Andes
Project Summary
The project development objective is to ensure conservation of globally significant biodiversity in the Andean Páramo. This will be achieved by implementing a series of initiatives necessary to create an enabling environment for the improved livelihoods of páramo stakeholders based on the conservation and sustainable use of the ecosystem’s natural resources.
