Conservation International GEF Small Grants Programme 2.0 (CI SGP 2.0)

The project aims to enhance sustainable solutions while promoting Global Environmental Benefits and reducing poverty. It will implement a diverse range of interventions to improve the enabling environment at global, national, and local levels, strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations (CSOs), and build a solid evidence base for the impact of CSO-led initiatives. By leveraging lessons learned from previous phases of the GEF SGP and collaborating closely with UNDP, the project seeks to empower Indigenous Peoples and local communities in addressing local environmental challenges. Ultimately, it will facilitate civil society-led actions that contribute to sustainable development and environmental resilience
