The project seeks to accelerate the transition to low-emission systems in three hard-to-abate sectors — the cement industry, residential LPG-based cooking, and cross-cutting thermal energy uses through the development of action plans, the adjustment of normative and regulatory frameworks, the implementation of pilot projects, communication and awareness campaigns, and the strengthening of technical capacities. Additionally, gender and social justice aspects will be integrated to ensure an inclusive and just transition.
