The project objective is to support Equatorial Guinea in preparing and submission of its first Biennial Transparency Report (BTR1) and a combined second Biennial Transparency and second National Communication Report (BTR2/NC2) in line with UNFCCC and Paris Agreement requirements. It will ensure reporting is consistent with the Enhanced Transparency Framework (Decision 18/CMA.1and 5/CMA.3) and will strengthen institutional and technical capacities and mainstream climate change considerations into national development planning and policy.
