The main objective of the project is to secure the ecological integrity of the Jordan Rift Valley, as a globally important ecological corridor and migratory flyway, through a combination of integrated land use planning, ecologically appropriate and nature-based socioeconomic development, and biodiversity protection and management.
Biomass-based Power Generation and Co-generation in the Malaysian Palm Oil Industry, Tranche I
The goal of this project is the reduction of the growth rate of GHG emissions from fossil fuel fired combustion processes and unutilized biomass waste through the acceleration of the growth of biomass-based power generation and combined heat and power (CHP). The main idea is to supplant part of the current fossil fuel consumption for power generation in Malaysia using biomass resources from the country's palm oil industry. The project purpose is to develop and exploit the energy potentials of biomass waste resources in the country through biomass-based power generation and CHP.

Climate Change Mitigation in Ukraine Through Energy Efficiency in Municipal District Heating (Pilot Project in Rivne) Stage 1
The proposed project addresses a key issue in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through large-scale improvements in energy efficiency in Ukraine's communal heat supply sector.
Demonstration Project of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Buses and an Associated System for Hydrogen Supply in Mexico City, Phase I
The immediate objective of this proposal is to foster the development, manufacture and large-scale commercialization of hydrogen-fuel cell buses (HFCBs) in Mexico through the initial operation of a fleet of 10 fuel cell buses in Mexico City during a 5-year period. This project represents the first part of a two-Part project designed to test –under conditions of commercial operation– a zero emissions technological option for public transport in a dynamic metropolitan area situated at 2,200 meters above sea level.
