Teayeon is a Junior Professional Officer in the Programs Unit responsible for results management of Integrated Approach Pilot Programs and delivery of Impact Programs. She has various experience both in the private sector and the UN system before joining the GEF, providing technical assistance in developing climate change adaptation and mitigation as well as forestry and land degradation projects. Her most recent position was at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Korea on developing Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects for private sector investors. She also worked with the UN Environment Addis Ababa Liaison Office to the UN Economic Commission for Africa and the African Union. Teayeon earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering from Korea University, with a focus on Forestry Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing.
