Susan Waithaka
Senior Country Relations Officer, GEF
Susan is a Kenyan national who prior to joining the GEF, was working with the WWF Eastern Africa Regional Program Office (EARPO) in Nairobi, coordinating a program on Lake Victoria.
Before that she worked with IUCN in various capacities as NGO Program Manager, as Communications Officer, and also as a NEPAD Program Manager for Africa.
Susan has a bachelor's degree from Kenyatta University in Kenya and a master's in communication from the RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.
