This meeting brought together members of the GEF Knowledge Management Advisory Group to go over progress made to date in the implementation of the GEF’s Knowledge Management (KM) vision and approach and to discuss key issues, challenges, as well as opportunities for collaboration and learning across the GEF partnership in delivering the KM Approach.
We heard from the European Space Agency, NASA, Planet Inc., and the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel on earth observation data and their relevance to GEF projects and programs. We also introduced our ongoing work to create a GEF Academy and explored the possibility of creating a GEF Community of Practice.
