A week long review meeting for the Pacific Adaptation to Climate Change (PACC) project (funded by the Special Climate Change Fund, or SCCF) was held this week in Port Vila, Vanuatu. This second Multipartite Review Meeting brought in over 50 participants that include regional partners, stakeholders and the 13 member countries in the Pacific to review the PACC progress, discuss policy, technical, and operational issues and recommendations for the decision of the MPR participants. Among the highlights of the reports of the meeting, was the integration of the PACC’s lessons learned into other regional legal frameworks such as the Micronesia Challenge Framework.
