The objective of the project is to test and improve methodologies and guidelines through a series of country studies for assessing climate change impacts and adaptation; it will support stage I adaptations measures as approved by COP-1 of the UNFCCC.

The project includes eight national and two regional studies in parallel with the development of a methodological framework for the economics of climate change mitigation.
