The GEF grant really accelerated the work of the SE4All District Energy Initiative. Without the grant we couldn’t go further faster together.
We wouldn’t be able to spread the word to so many cities and countries. The joint effort between the public and private sector is really what makes the difference here. We bring together technological insight, policy know-how and finance expertise in order to create a pipeline for bankable projects. The GEF enables us to scale these projects and replicate. This make for a truly unique partnership.
