The Sustainable Cerrado Initiative is an umbrella Program which adopts two-phased approach with multi-project grants. The Sustainable Cerrado Initiative Program is designed to allow executors to promote cooperation among States and/or institutions, ensure coordinated actions under a common framework, and replicate an approach to address biome-wide Cerrado conservation. This Phase I consists of four projects/grants: (i) two at the national level: Ministry of Environment (MMA) and Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio); and (ii) two in the following States: Tocantins and Goiás.
