This virtual webinar introduced three projects supported by the Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF), Special Climate Change Fund (SCCF), and GEF Trust Fund, which effectively strengthened resilience and socio-economic benefits in rural communities through innovative approaches to create nature-based livelihood opportunities, while achieving strong global environment benefits including reduction of GHG emissions, restoration of land, conservation of dry forest, and climate change adaptation. The event introduced key lessons learned and challenges on strengthening resilience and socio-economic benefits from these projects, and participants discussed the relevance of lessons to the GEF partnership and beyond.
