The objective of this project is to assist Morocco in the preparation and submission of its Second Biennial Transparency Report (BTR2) and its combined Third Biennial Transparency and Sixth National Communication (BTR3/NC6), while strengthening institutional and technical capacities for implementing the Enhanced Transparency Framework in line with Article 13 of the Paris Agreement and relevant CMA[1] decisions [2]. The project will also support to integrate climate change and transparency considerations into national development planning and policy processes while ensuring the sustainability and continuity of the institutional and technical capacity building and national reporting instruments.
[1] CMA: The Conference of the Parties, the supreme body of the Convention, shall serve as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement. All States that are Parties to the Paris Agreement are represented at the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA), while States that are not Parties participate as observers.
