Daichi Tsuchihashi
Daichi Tsuchihashi serves as a Senior Financial Specialist at the Global Environment Facility, specializing in the structuring and management of blended finance projects.
Prior to his role at the GEF, he was an Investment Specialist in the Private Sector Facility division of the Green Climate Fund, where he oversaw climate finance transactions with private sector companies worldwide. His career also includes a position as an Investment Officer at IDB Invest, where he successfully closed transactions in the digital economy and fintech sectors. Daichi's diverse background is further enhanced by his experience with the United Nations and Mizuho Bank, where he managed substantial credit portfolios and conducted comprehensive market research in emerging economies.
As a Certified Public Accountant, Daichi holds a Master’s degree in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor’s degree in Area Studies from Sophia University in Tokyo. He is proficient in Japanese, English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
