In Timor-Leste, floods and storms threaten livelihoods and food security. But in the rural village of Liurai, communities are finding new ways to adapt and build a more resilient future.
With support from the Global Environment Facility's Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF), families are developing sustainable fish farming practices that provide nutritious food, create income opportunities, and reduce vulnerability to climate risks.
Implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and executed by WorldFish, the IKAN Adapt project is helping communities strengthen their livelihoods while protecting the natural resources they depend on.
