GEF Climate Change Adaptation Funds

The GEF is a family of funds that supports climate change adaptation in developing countries mainly through the Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF) and the Special Climate Change Fund (SCCF).

The Global Environment Facility will co-host a pavilion at COP28 with the Adaptation Fund, Climate Investment Funds, and Green Climate Fund, focusing on the importance of #Finance4Climate and emphasizing collaboration and coordination between the multilateral funds, including the GEF’s Least Developed Countries Fund and Special Climate Change Fund. This will be a networking space, a place to hear from climate fund experts, and a venue for informational sessions and announcements.

We invite all participants to visit the Climate Funds pavilion in Thematic Arena 3 (Blue Zone), and to attend five thematic "Ask the expert" sessions where each fund will describe their activities in the theme, and then open the floor for a question-and-answer session.
